The Raleigh Civic Chamber Orchestra plays French and American music inspired by the poetry of moonlight. The concert also explores music that unfolds in layers, cycles and phases, weaving together strands of rhythm and melody into hypnotic tapestries.

James Budinich is pursuing a Ph.D. in composition at Duke, and previously earned his Master of Music in composition from Binghamton University. He composes music inspired by minimalism, Croatian folk traditions, and American popular music.
